Don't throw away old bamboo or wicker window blinds! I removed all the hardware and turned them sideways to make my walls look like bamboo.  They can be tacked up with small nails or push pins. The elephant pix were $15 each at Roses and the mirror was $10, also from Roses. (purchased several years ago.)
